Harlington Piece

A month or two ago I got a phone call from a Lubbock phone number. It was a girl requesting a painting. I assumed she was friend's with Janda (my friend who lives there) but she didn't know her! Apparently I showed up on a google search! Ha! Would've never known...... Anyways, the painting was for a baby nursery, to coordinate with Pottery Barn's Harlington Bedding. I had already done a painting to go with that bedding before (Laine Grace). This time though, no wording was requested, just the florals. I gotta admit, I was in love with this painting. It sat in my dining room for a bit before it was delivered and I had some serious thoughts about keeping it (just kidding, but not really!) I may have to paint one similar for myself someday. The colors just are beautiful together! I think they liked it....hoping to get some pics someday!
I have also fallen in love with Instagram on my Iphone and all that editing that it makes possible. These pics have been messed with a little using that app (that's why the color may look different in different pictures).

Rule Boards

I have had alot of requests lately for these fun boards. I was asked to come up with a Porch Rules board too, which I've now done 2 of! They are the same idea, but put onto wood that's more durable for outside and sealed with a polyurethane that will hopefully hold up to a little heat and moisture. I'll let the pictures do the talking:)

I've started roughing up the edges with the sander; love the turnout

Step Stools!

In December I decided to try making my kiddos some cute step stools for their bathroom. They were easy enough! Just a few pieces of cut wood, some legs to screw in, and a little wood glue. I LOOOOOVE having a Lowe's in Carlsbad now! Woo hoo!!

Grayer and Sophia's stools

I posted my kids' stools on Facebook and had a friend request some for her grandkids' christmas gifts! So I made 3 for her, different shapes and sizes.

Hunter's room is Thomas the Train theme

This one was for her granddaugher who hadn't been born yet. She gave me the nursery colors.
And since I was having alot of fun making them, I made a couple for my sweet friend Janda's girls (Ady and Aubyn).
